Q: My binding seems to be pulling apart, is there something I can do?
A: If you’ve caught the binding on something or it appears to be separating in areas, it’s easy to refasten. Begin by flipping the back cover around to the front and rotate the connected area of the wire-o so it lies flush against the last page of the journal. Then squeeze to adjust each of the wires that have pulled out of alignment. (It's easiest to see in the photos.)

Q: Is there a proper way to write goals?
A: In The Sacred Journey, Daily Journal for Your Soul, I recommend being specific when setting goals, yet it is often essential to allow room for flexibility and change. Life is filled with unexpected twists and turns that may require an adjustment or a revision to established goals. This requires balance, and perhaps a healthy dose of grace, to find the point between being firmly action-oriented and living with so much dreaminess, that manifestation is either disappointing or illusive.
You want to become your own Jiminy Cricket and best friend, complete with an internal cheering squad. The more you set attainable goals and accomplish them, the more fun they become and the more empowered you will feel. Pull the carrot into reach. Visualize this, it is important! Have you ever experienced wanting something that is always just beyond your grasp, no matter what you do? Perhaps it is time to let that go and move on.
Timelines are great, if they allow you room to breathe. In my early years of creating The Sacred Journey and working with goals, I would fill all the sections in my journal with lots of complicated goals. I was amazed at how much I was accomplishing, but my life was becoming stressful and chaotic, with more and more pressure. I discovered that the quality of my goals, rather than the quantity, is what’s really important.
Experiment and be adventurous. There are many paths, not only one "right" way. It is a process of exploring, discovering, and embarking on the journey to find what works for you and then doing it again and again. Write attainable goals and allow them to build upon each other. Oh, and when we give thanks in advance, that is gratitude in action!
Be brave fervent hearts, one goal at a time.
